We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Database Administrator with expert-level skills in Oracle DB (12c/19c/21c), deep familiarity with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) architecture, and strong hands-on experience with Nutanix NDB (Era). The ideal candidate should also possess solid Linux administration and virtualization skills, a proven track record of Oracle workload migrations, and a strong understanding of backup/restore strategies and automation. Job Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Oracle databases, including features like ASM, RAC, and Data Guard Manage Oracle ODA environments: storage, patching, high availability, and backups Conduct physical and logical migrations of Oracle databases across diverse platforms Work with Oracle PDB migration strategies in multitenant environments Provision, patch, and backup databases using Nutanix NDB (Era) Design and implement DR strategies using Oracle Data Guard or Nutanix replication Perform system administration on RHEL/Oracle Linux (kernel tuning, hugepages, firewalld) Support virtualization platforms such as AHV and VMware vSphere Automate processes using scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and REST APIs Utilize Ansible or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code deployments (optional but preferred) Required Skills: Expert-level experience with Oracle DB 12c/19c/21c In-depth knowledge of Oracle ODA CLI, Appliance Manager, and storage layout Proficient in RMAN, Data Pump, Flashback, and transportable tablespaces Hands-on experience with Nutanix NDB (Era): provisioning, cloning, patching, backups Solid understanding of Nutanix HCI architecture, AHV/ESXi, vDisks, and snashots Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Oracle Linux): kernel tuning, SELinux, firewalld Backup and restore strategy expertise (RMAN, Nutanix NDB, third-party tools) REST API integration for NDB automation Preferred Skills: Experience with third-party backup tools: Rubrik, Commvault, NetBackup Infrastructure-as-code with Ansible or Terraform Oracle Data Guard DR implementation on Nutanix NDB Logging and monitoring integrations Certifications: [Specify if any Oracle or Nutanix certifications are preferred or required] Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel, Inc.
