Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Co-op students or unpaid interns to join our team as Social Media Marketing Interns. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that enhance our online presence and engage our target audience.
Tentative Start Date: June 02, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
· Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including posts, stories, and videos.
· Monitor social media channels, track performance metrics, and generate reports on campaign effectiveness.
· Conduct market research to identify trends and insights to improve our social media strategies.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative marketing campaigns.
· Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships with followers.
· Assist in the management of paid social media advertising campaigns.
Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Marketing, Communications, or related program.
· Passion for social media and digital marketing.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Familiarity with social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
· Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
