Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and alert Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property while maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the venue
Verify guest IDs and maintain crowd control
Respond quickly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
Enforce venue rules and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Escort guests or staff when necessary
Collaborate with management and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Write brief reports of incidents or security concerns
Requirements:
Previous security experience preferred (nightlife or hospitality experience a plus)
Must be reliable, observant, and calm under pressure
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Must be able to stand for long periods and work nights/weekends
Valid security license or certification (as required by NYC law)
