Salary: $20-$29 based on experience

Lorenz Bus Service is a diversified transportation company located in Blaine, MN; it is one of the leading motor coach, shuttle bus, and school bus providers in the Twin Cities. With our continued growth and demand for service, Lorenz Bus Service, Inc. is looking to hire talented school bus drivers. Our team members enjoy a family-like culture and the opportunity to be part of a greater purpose. We understand our drivers are at the heart of everything we do and they are responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Our company is the transportation manager for the Minnesota State Fair and provides service for local universities, professional sports teams, visiting dignitaries, and local fortune 500 corporations—these opportunities often provide significant summer work opportunities for our school bus driver base.

Presently, we are hiring school bus drivers to drive in the following districts and we have routes ranging from 30-40+ hours per week:

• Spring Lake Park School District
• Minneapolis Public Schools
• St Paul Public Schools

Requirements:

• Possess excellent customer service skills 
• Ability to act in a courteous and professional manner at all times
• Patience and the ability to maintain professionalism while adapting to changing situations
• Having a smart phone or tablet will help simplify your job
• Valid commercial drivers’ license with school bus endorsement
• Current and valid DOT medical card
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test and criminal history background check
• Favorable driving record with experience. If not, willingness to complete Lorenz’s entry level driver training program
• Have a glass is half full mentality, with a passion for serving others
• Team Player – reliable, honest, take initiative and be committed to putting the team’s objectives above your own
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather
