Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Paraprofessional eager to support high school students in an educational setting. Located in Parachute, CO, this contract position spans the current school year (CSY), providing consistent support within a structured academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with instructional support and classroom management to enhance student learning.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students requiring additional academic support.
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of teachers and specialists.
  • Monitor student progress and behavior, reporting observations to the teaching staff.
  • Support the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with high school students in educational or support roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and students.
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
  • Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in student success.
