Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft 2D and some 3D drawings for cabinetry and millwork using AutoCAD software and Cabinet Vision.
2. Interpret architectural drawings and client specifications.
3. Produce cut lists, assembly diagrams, and material specifications.
4. Ensure drawings meet building codes, safety standards, and manufacturing requirements.
5. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and shop staff to resolve design or construction issues.
6. Revise drawings based on client or project manager feedback.
Skills & Tools
1. Software: AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Cabinet Vision, Revit.
2. Knowledge: Woodworking techniques, joinery, hardware specifications, and shop production methods.
3. Skills: Attention to detail, spatial visualization, problem solving and strong communication with shop and field teams.
