Accounts Payable (AP) Manager

Location: Raleigh, NC (On-Site)

Salary: $75,000–$85,000

Overview:

A well-established service company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee full-cycle AP operations across multiple divisions. This on-site role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with strong vendor management skills and a background in supervising AP teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals, disbursements, and reconciliations
• Supervise and support a team of AP specialists, including remote staff
• Oversee vendor communications, resolve billing issues, and negotiate payment terms
• Maintain internal controls and ensure policy compliance
• Assist with month-end close, including accruals and ledger reconciliation
• Coordinate AP processes across multiple company divisions
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and reporting

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting tools)
• Experience managing AP in a multi-entity or multi-divisional environment
• Familiarity with Ramp and/or ServiceTitan a plus
