Job Description

The Webflow Web Developer Contractor will support the Web team in developing, managing, and optimizing websites built on Webflow for a variety of clients. This role is primarily project-based and involves executing technical updates, content edits, and performance optimizations to ensure seamless website functionality. The developer will play a key role in supporting SEO initiatives and enabling internal teams to focus on strategy rather than platform-specific learning.

Requirements

1. Develop and customize Webflow websites for clients across multiple industries


2. Implement SEO optimizations, including structured data, on-page enhancements, and performance improvements within Webflow


3. Execute technical updates and troubleshoot issues within Webflow's CMS and custom code editor


4. Work closely with account and SEO teams to ensure seamless site implementations without requiring them to navigate Webflow's complexities


5. Assist with website launches and ongoing maintenance


6. Provide light training and documentation to help internal teams manage minor updates in Webflow


7. Collaborate with SEO, Content, and Design teams to ensure development aligns with brand and UX/UI best practices

Minimum Requirements

1. Expert-level experience with Webflow (highly proficient candidates required)


2. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience customizing Webflow sites


3. Experience implementing SEO best practices in Webflow, including metadata, schema markup, and site speed optimizations


4. Ability to translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional Webflow websites


5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot Webflow-specific issues efficiently


6. Excellent communication and project management skills for cross-functional collaboration


7. Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with Webflow

Nice to Have

1. Experience with Webflow CMS migrations and API integrations


2. Familiarity with other CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)


3. Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and responsive design principles


4. Portfolio of Webflow projects demonstrating development expertise
