U.S. Probation Officer Assistant/U.S. Probation Officer The U.S. Probation Office has announced an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in serving the community in Syracuse. We are currently accepting applications for various positions that require a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Before being officially appointed, candidates will be required to undergo a thorough medical examination as well as a comprehensive drug screening to ensure adherence to federal employment standards.Additionally, successful applicants will need to complete a security background investigation, which is standard procedure for our agency. First-time appointees to federal law enforcement must not have reached their 37th birthday at the time of appointment.
