ProKatchers is seeking a travel Cardiovascular Technologist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Job Description & RequirementsDuties: General Description: Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases. Essential Responsibilities: -Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. -Utilizing entry-level knowledge, abilities, skills and available resources, provides safe, high quality, efficient and cost-effective patient-centric care and support services under routine or emergent conditions in a variety of care settings to include, but not limited to; acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers and remote statewide outreach clinics. -Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians to be performed. -Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to identify and implement the actions necessary to achieve the clinical outcomes, operational goals and service expectations desired.
\n\nEducation: Required Education: -Associate’s degree or higher required. -ONE of the following: --Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with an emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty. --Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with an emphasis in radiologic technology. --Completion of a Paramedic training program.
\n\nRequired Certifications & Licensure: - AHA BLS. -Must meet applicant eligibility requirements and published standards for ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) . OR -Successful completion of Paramedic training program
