Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a day shift assignment requiring BLS certification and a minimum of two years in echocardiography.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography department
• Work schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Required to work every 6th weekend as needed
• Cares for a variety of cardiac patients in a hospital-based setting
• Holiday work may be required as needed
• Maximum of 7 days of time off; no time off allowed during the first 2 weeks
• All time off requests must be submitted with application
• Previous permanent staff must be gone for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Traveler is responsible for travel arrangements for fingerprinting
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing or risk cancellation

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
• Current BLS certification required
• Will accept first-time travelers
• Primary residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• Must commit to required fingerprinting in person in MN prior to assignment start
• Medical or religious exemption for vaccines must be submitted if applicable
• License required if applicable
