We at Titan Home Security are a Vector Security authorized dealer, serving residential and small business customers. We provide industry-leading home security systems as well as the latest technologies in home automation and energy management. Due to expansion we are seeking Canvasser Team Leads for our local Nashville office and surrounding areas (middle TN)

PLEASE READ::::

I'd like to be blunt here. Due to the way this platform and others work, we are inundated with applicants. I'm going to spell out what we are looking for in black and white the best I can. I'm hoping you appreciate this transparency, as many companies like to withhold the nitty gritty until after you accept. I'm sure this will reduce our applicant count, however, I'd rather those that are serious with the qualifications be few than buried among hundreds that click the one-click apply button

Responsibilities:

• You will sell Vector Security/Alarm.com services to residential clients at their homes
• Work independently in the field running these given leads. This is outside, knocking on doors. You enjoy the outside. You will not melt, promise.
• Need to be able to meet minimum quotas. Not just for us, but for yourself
• Once you have shown you can sell, and well; you will lead a team of 3. You need to be able to coach and help them do the same

Qualifications:

• Experienced in direct/outside sales. Experience in commissions. If you dont, I'd like you to plead your case why now is the time. We don’t mind helping you make this path
• MUST BE CONFIDENT in one's ability to sell. Strong ability to influence others. They dont sell themselves. You need to be able to close. We will help you learn, but you do need the gift
• We sell technology. Alot of tech. I'm not saying you need to understand the inner workings of a Tesla, but you need to be proficient with a phone and basic apps. You need to be able to understand basic alarm/camera features and functions and be able to relay them in a sales presentation to a client.
• Ability to work late mornings to early evening. We work 30 hours a week, 10:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. No weekends.
• Reliable transportation. As a rep, you only need to meet at the meet up and the team lead will take you to your leads; as a team lead you will be dropping off your team. It needs to run, ideally well. I really feel I shouldn't need to put this here, but I've got stories....

Compensation / Benefits Overview:

• Good commissions, paid per deal and weekly. You will not be waiting to be paid for your work
• To repeat the above line, this is not a salary. This is for people that want to be paid more than their cohorts
• Bonuses paid on all deals retro at 3+ per week. Rep level of 3/week averages 62k; team lead of 4/week averages 100k.
• W2 (actual employee) position, contractor available by request
• No mornings, weekends or holidays. You have a life, you need to live it.
• No distance, all leads provided are within Nashville metro and surrounding areas. As much as we enjoy working in Mississippi and other far away ‘leads,’ we will stay close to home

In summary about you. You are go getter that wants to get off of the hamster wheel. You dont want to grind it out every friday saturday and sunday. You dont want to bell each day watching the sun rise and set through the store windows. You dont want to sell a product that wont be installed for 4 months and paid to you even further out. You want to earn this week and get paid on that THIS WEEK. You want to be able to hit a goal and then tell us (the company) you are done for this week and we'll see you on Monday. You dont want to come to daily 3 hours ra ra meeting where you dont make any money and listen to others complain. You dont want to travel over a different state staying in a lousy motel. You want a feasible opportunity to make six figures without having to set company records to do so. You want leadership in the company that does this job as well so they dont talk out their butts when giving advice. You want a service/tech team that wont kill your jobs. You want a product thats priced fair or better than the market and with features that others can only match at best; but many dont. Finally... you have a sense of humor. (note about that last one. I'm not going to post the cliche "we are a family" line because we are not family. That being said... we do spend time together. Dont be weird)
