Summer 2026 Process Engineering Intern

As a Process Engineering Intern, you will contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence by supporting real-time processing challenges and driving ergonomic and safety-focused projects. You will collaborate with engineering and site leadership to enhance production practices, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and help implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and employee engagement.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establish / execute / maintain gap analysis of Continuous Improvement Processes
• Ensure compliance with standards for EHS, cost control, waste reduction, quality
• Recommends modifications or additions which will address projects for operational improvements
• Identifying process safety reactivity evaluations, process training and operating procedures
• Ensures new production processes are implemented in compliance with Environmental and Process Safety regulations and Momentive policies and standards
• Support significant processing issues and incidents where chemical formulations are involved
• Communicate to site and Senior Leadership team as required
• Embrace continuous improvement philosophies and tools to engage employees
• Drive visual operation performance metrics to shop floor

Qualifications:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with local site teams and managers
• Able to complete assigned projects and clearly present findings using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Minitab, and/or SAP
• Demonstrates commitment to complying with EHS policies and standards

Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
