What We Offer:

Schedule : 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM with rotating weekend call; Full-Time

Location : Rowan Medical Center - Salisbury, NC; At 266 beds, Rowan is Novant's 4th largest hospital and has been serving the area since 1936. 

This role is ideal for experienced sterile processing technicians or someone new to the field looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required.  CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.

• Provide clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet individual team needs
• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments
