Primary Responsibilities:
• This Contractor Position is to add more capacity for short term with an SAP Functional Senior Business Analyst on IT SAP team due to various Projects and Production Support needs.
• Main liaison to business functional areas – Partnering with business stakeholders, understanding their needs, prioritizing efforts, recommending changes / innovations, serving as the Subject Matter Expert for their area of expertise.
• System Design – Documenting requirements and developing solutions using standard or custom SAP functionality. Recommending alternatives when multiple options are available.
• Developing Solutions – Performing SAP System Configuration, writing functional requirements for custom development, performing appropriate system tests (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing), writing system/user documentation, training end users on functionality.
• Production Support – Troubleshooting system issues, analyzing processes, recommending course of action.

Specific Skills and/or knowledge, credentials, or professional certifications:
• In depth functional and configuration expertise in the SAP Production Planning (PP) module.
• Key knowledge and experience with MES implementations and support, integration with decentralized EWM, good understanding on the product costing process and integration with Process Orders, and knowledge/experience with the PP-QM integration.
• Analytical skills must include the ability to quickly identify problems, gather relevant information, determine the root causes, and make recommendations regarding solutions.
• Candidates must be proactive, a self-starter who sets high standards for self and coworkers.
• Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple competing tasks and adapt quickly to changes.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written is required plus interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must also have a good working knowledge of the QM module processes and the integration of QM and PP for the production process within the SAP EWM environment.

Notes:

• Onsite or Remote: This position will be remote but local to the Chicago area. The candidate should be physically in the Melrose Park site 3 days per week and working remote 2 days per week.
• Reason for opening: The person that had this position left the company.
• Potential for assignment extension, or conversion to FTE: There is always the possibility for extension and/or conversion to FTE.
• Work Schedule: This is a full-time 8am to 5pm position. It required there may be work outside the normal FK work day.
• What are the technical and soft skills required for this position: The right candidate must have the experience and knowledge explained in the job posting. The candidate also must have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Top 3 skills you would like to see in a candidate’s resume: Experience with implementation of SAP PP, experience with the integration points of PP with QM, MES, FI, EWM, experience in development/implementations and ongoing support of in place systems.
• Preference on previous work experience’s industry: Working the Pharma and Medical Device industries is preferred.
• Education Background Requirement: 4-year degree and 7 years of experience.
• Interview Process: The process is review candidate resumes, select the top candidates for technical skills phone screening, then video conference interviewing by manager(s).
• When are you available to review/interview candidates: This depends on the process timing. Time will be made to interview the right candidates
