Job Responsibilities: Convey thoughts and intentions quickly and accurately into the target language, ensuring cultural competence and message integrity. Provide language solutions through on-site and remote interpreting (over the phone and via video). Communicate professionally and conduct interpreting sessions effectively. Maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA during interpreting encounters. Requirements: Native fluency in English and Spanish. Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills. Experience using medical terminology. Prompt submission of timekeeping and administrative tasks. Ability to travel across multiple locations within designated regions. Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance. Availability during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with flexibility. Successful passing of screening assessments, background, and drug screenings, plus verification of work authorization. Willingness to obtain medical clearances (TB, MMR, Varicella immunity) and stay up-to-date on vaccinations. Additional Attributes: Strong communication skills. Passion for helping others.
