The Social Worker MSW (Per Diem) provides comprehensive biopsychosocial and spiritual assessments, treatment interventions, and advocacy for patients across multiple hospitals in the Portland Metro area. Working under supervision, they develop and implement evidence-based, person-centered care plans collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient health and reduce barriers to care. This role requires a Master's degree in Social Work and clinical licensure in Oregon, focusing on delivering compassionate social services within healthcare settings.

This is an inpatient per diem/on call position supporting four different hospitals in the Portland Metro area.
The CSWA Social Worker, under direct and continuous supervision, provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The CSWA incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The CSWA will collaborate with the patient and support system(s) to develop and implement evidence-informed person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT). The CSWA shall perform duties in a manner that respects patient self-determination that reduces health disparities/barriers to care and adheres to the NASW code of ethics and Standards of Practice (SOP).
