Role Overview:

Brother International Corporation is recruiting for its Summer 2026 Internship Program. This exciting opportunity provides selected undergraduate students with a PAID, summer-long experience. The program runs from Monday June 1 through Friday August 14, with optional opportunity to extend and start 1-2 weeks earlier and/or continue 1-2 weeks later, depending on your semester schedule and the needs of the business. Eligible student applicants will be current sophomores and juniors (rising juniors and seniors respectively during the Summer 2026 program period), possess US work authorization, and be able to work full-time, following the expected schedule and on-site presence of the position. The objectives of the program are to provide meaningful work and projects for completion and to help Brother develop a strong pipeline of talent within our operating communities.

This role will be based at our Bridgewater, NJ location and follow a hybrid work schedule. You will be expected to be on site at least 3 days a week, based on business need, with assigned office days determined by the manager. #LI-Hybrid

Duties & Responsibilities:

As part of our commitment to ensuring that our summer interns are contributing to our business and completing meaningful work, below are some examples of the kind of projects you may be responsible for supporting this summer, dependent on business need and priorities.

    • Develop and produce short-form social content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that supports upcoming product launches, brand campaigns, and ambassador spotlights across Brother’s consumer and business channels

    • Support the continued buildout of our content studio by assisting with creative shoots, organizing assets, sourcing props, and helping refine repeatable production workflows for the team

    • Contribute to monthly social reporting and trend analysis by identifying platform trends, summarizing performance insights, and recommending content opportunities that align with brand objectives

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Must be a present college sophomore or junior (rising junior or rising senior during the Summer 2026 program period) returning to an undergraduate program following the summer to be eligible
  • Target Major(s) or Fields of Study: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Film, Video Production, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, Digital Media, Creative Writing, Photography, Social Media Management, Content Design or other similar major

Required Experience & Technical Skills:

    • Proven experience creating short-form social content (Reels, TikToks, short videos) with an understanding of current platform trends

    • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills tailored for social audiences

    • Foundational photo/video editing abilities using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut, or similar

    • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

    • Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual consistency, branding, and creative quality

Additional Preferred Experience & Technical Skills:

    • Experience planning or producing content for brand social channels or student-led organizations

    • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics) and basic performance reporting

    • Knowledge of SEO, social media best practices, or content optimization strategies

    • Comfort being on camera or directing talent during content creation

    • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with brand guidelines or visual identity systems
