**Hiring for Multiple Positions for Evening and Weekend Shifts**

Freedom House is a men's sober living home and we are only hiring male technicians at this time.

 

As a Sober Living House Technician, you would be responsible for the care and well-being of all guests and residents at Freedom House.

We are seeking an individuals who possesses a genuine passion for helping and providing support to people at the beginning stages of one of the most important journeys of their lives. This person should be dedicated to making a positive impact and have practical knowledge of twelve-step fellowships and their programs. Such knowledge can be invaluable in guiding and supporting individuals as they navigate the challenges and milestones of their recovery journey.

Sober Living House Technician compensation = hourly rate of $19-$21

Sober Living House Technician  Job responsibilities include and are not limited to:
  • Build an effective trust-based relationship by ensuring a safe, clean, and stable living environment and onsite support for individuals in the early stages in recovery.
  • Manage and supervise the day to day activities of the housing residents.
  • Ensure that all documentation and log entries are accurately completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all “House Rules” and responsibilities are enforced and upheld.
  • Light housekeeping and occasional cooking when needed.
  • Direct and monitor residents through their daily activities and interactions.
  • Provide transportation for residents when needed.
  • Conduct random drug screens when needed.
  • Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
  • Following Infection Control Guidelines at all times.
Sober Living House Technician  Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a sober living environment strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of addiction recovery principles, relapse prevention strategies, and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish boundaries with residents.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current CPR certification is certainly preferred but not required.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
