Job Description Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report at least three times per week to one of our Bay Area offices (San Francisco, Mountain View, or Sunnyvale). Role: Our team, part of GM's ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) organization, collaborates closely with the Operations Team. We develop and implement products to efficiently manage our extensive data collection vehicle fleet. This role is suitable for individuals with a strong product focus and a drive to meet customer needs. We also incorporate generative AI into our development tools and products. What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain software for our fleet of vehicles. Collaborate with various departments to determine software requirements and specifications. Design, implement, and test software to ensure performance and reliability. Optimize software for real-world deployment. Promptly resolve software issues through debugging. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members. Your Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of software engineering experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with React or Next.js. Experience with GCP. Compensation: The salary range is $158,000 - $241,900, based on experience and other factors.
