This role demands decisive action and the ability to bring stakeholders along as we partner with best-in-class industry leaders and restaurant solution providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Take Action Through Churn and Noise:

  • Unite stakeholders, including executives, on what is truly important to include in restaurant system requirements.
  • Lead the modernization of inventory and labor management systems to create a seamless, efficient operational environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between systems.
  • Leverage third-party solutions to enhance system capabilities and streamline operations.

Drive Simplicity:

  • Transition current complex requirements to simpler, industry-standard solutions.
  • Advocate for user-friendly, effective products that solve complex business challenges.
  • Balance technical feasibility with user experience to deliver thoughtful, intuitive solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication to reduce churn and noise.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including engineering, design, business, and HR.
  • Align teams through effective communication across multiple modalities (written, verbal, visual).

Execution and Delivery:

  • Drive projects forward with urgency and accountability.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Promote discussion, debate, and commitment, ensuring clarity and alignment as work progresses.
  • Focus on outcomes through compromise, optimization, and clarity.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with:
  • Experience integrating third-party systems into existing ecosystems.
  • Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment (preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex processes and advocate for lean solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in high-execution environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with inventory control, costing, labor force optimization, and restaurant technology.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA or graduate degree is a plus.
