SUMMARY The position will primarily support the Partner Accounts & Tax department in preparing for all international tax compliance, tax audits and tax planning matters affecting non-US operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Primary responsibility to support the Senior Manager and Assistant Tax Manager with day to day international tax compliance tasks.
• Prepare underlying work papers to support international tax related tax filings such as Pillar 2 (Globe Information Return and QDMTT filings in applicable jurisdictions) along with entity level income tax filings in the eight foreign countries which S&C has offices.
• Compile, review and analyze partner level data required for the filing of non-US returns mentioned above.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation and forecast of foreign tax payments.
• Handle the annual tax treaty certification forms (Form 6166) to minimize client withholding plus internal Firm reports to ensure proper reporting for foreign withholding.
• Develop an adept working knowledge of the Firm's systems to compile monthly and ad hoc reports.
• Monthly processing of outside vendor invoices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including administration functions.
QUALIFICATIONS • Excellent excel skills required (pivot tables, V-lookups, use of functions to organize data to facilitate reporting and cross-checks).
• Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
• Ability to learn and train in various PC applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically.
• Good interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and build partnerships with different departments, business partners and management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required. Advance degree and/or CPA and/or Enrolled Agent a plus
• 2 to 5+ years of tax and/or accounting experience required. Partnership tax experience for service industries a plus
• Experience with FAS, Elite 3e, EssBase, etc. desirable

COMPENSATION The base salary range offered for this role will be between $100,000 and $120,000. When determining a candidate's compensation offer, elements unique to each person are taken into consideration including but not limited to skill set, experience level, performance, professional certifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the Firm.
