As a Security Professional - Corporate Location in Saint Petersburg, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and attention to detail will support a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and guests, and embody our values of agility, reliability, and integrity while working collaboratively to address any concerns that arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for security-related incidents.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and granting access according to established protocols.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and access control events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required for driving positions only.
  • A valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements is required for driving positions only.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Florida Security Professional (SP) Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
