As a Security Professional - Access Patrol in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. This post may require an armed guard license. Your role is vital in maintaining a welcoming and orderly atmosphere throughout the facility.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the food and beverage production environment.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, adapting to the unique conditions of the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or policy violations observed during shifts.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address concerns related to access control and support a secure working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
