As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a prominent food and beverage production location. In this position, you will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and manage badge access for employees and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service will foster a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate: $12.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel and property.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a food and beverage production setting.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters and support operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
