Job Summary
We are seeking a Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for food production. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am

Duties

• Perform cleaning of wash areas, including operating pan washers and manual utensil cleaning as needed.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning, ensuring proper coverage of sensitive components.
• Follow SSOPs to complete routine and deep cleaning tasks.
• Identify equipment requiring deep cleaning and perform thorough sanitation.
• Handle and apply sanitation chemicals safely and effectively.
• Report safety, food safety, or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel immediately.
• Adhere to all safety, food safety, and company policies, procedures, and training.
• Carry out additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in kitchen or food plant sanitation required.
• Familiarity with pre-rinse, wash, rinse, and sanitize procedures.
• Understanding of proper top-down cleaning order for food safety.
• Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and safe handling practices.
• Basic understanding of lockout/tagout protocols.
• Willingness and ability to learn cleaning procedures for all production lines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
