Job Title: Sales Specialist (Construction/HVAC)

Position Overview: We are looking for an entry-level sales associate to join our growing sales team. The Sales Support Representative (Construction/HVAC)will play a crucial, front-line role in driving our company's revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying new leads, educating prospects on our products/services, and creating sales opportunities for our account executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify key business opportunities through cold calling, following up on technician referrals and qualifying leads.
  • Assist with identifying customer needs during service calls or through outbound contact.
  • Develop a solid understanding of HVAC systems and service offerings.
  • Promote and sell HVAC service agreements, repairs, and system upgrades.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional service needs.
  • Create professional sales proposals and presentation
  • Support senior sales representatives with administrative or field tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM software.
  • Participate in trade shows and professional organizations.
  • Maintain monthly sales goals and forecasts.
  • Assist with turnover meetings to include point of contact, start dates, estimated labor and materials and any special customer requests.
  • Attend training and development sessions to grow product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, construction, marketing or an industry-relevant field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or CRM software (training provided).
  • Analytical skills
  • Competitive negotiator with excellent customer service skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC systems.
  • Interest in HVAC industry and sales; prior experience in customer service or inside/outside sales is a plus but not required.
