Job Description
Position Summary:
The Sales and Marketing manager is responsible for increasing the A.M. (Aftermarket) tire/wheel sales and promotions, while also playing a key role in O.E. (Original Equipment) tire/wheel promotions through both internal and external meetings. This position oversees all aspects of A.M. Duro Tire & Wheels and Rosta Performance sales, drives marketing efforts to current and new customers, and manages communication with factories, logistics, and internal teams. Additionally, the role involves traveling to trade shows, customer visits, and managing freight contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
● Sales Leadership :
○ Oversee and manage all A.M. Duro Tire & Wheels and Rosta Performance Group sales, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and expansion goals.
○ Promote and market additional tire/wheel products to existing customers, while developing strategies to attract new customers for A.M. sales.
○ Assist in O.E. tire/wheel promotion through active participation in internal and external meetings, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
● Marketing & Customer Relations :
○ Develop marketing strategies for tire/wheel products, ensuring proper promotion and positioning within the market.
○ Maintain constant communication with the factory regarding orders, shipments, tire/wheel developments, pricing updates, and more.
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through frequent interactions, including customer visits, trade shows, and dealer meetings.
● Data Management :
○ Accurately enter and maintain sales orders within NetSuite Oracle software on a daily basis.
○ Monitor customer orders, schedule full truck load deliveries from the warehouse to customers and ensure timely fulfillment.
● Logistics & Freight Management :
○ Handle all import freight contracts with multiple ocean freight companies, including conducting annual pricing negotiations and ensuring cost-effective logistics operations.
● Team Development :
○ Assist in training new sales staff in their roles and responsibilities, fostering their development within the organization.
○ Provide guidance and support in managing sales operations, customer account monitoring, and overdue account collections.
● Financial Oversight :
○ Work with the finance team to monitor and address overdue customer account balances, getting involved in collections when necessary.
● Inventory & Procurement :
○ Coordinate the ordering of tires/wheels from overseas factories to the company’s warehouse, ensuring sufficient stock levels for both O.E. and A.M. sales.
○ Order and maintain sales promotional items to enhance customer engagement and brand visibility.
Starting at 80k plus bonus
Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
