We are seeking an Research Assistant to become an integral part of our team! You will assist our Research Coordinators with all duties related to Clinical Research.

Previous Optometry/Ophthalmology tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting the clinical study according to FDA regulations and guidelines

• Utilize and maintain organizational tools to conduct the study accurately and in compliance with GCPs

• Protect the rights, safety and welfare of the study subjects

• Be knowledgeable of the Sponsor’s protocol

• Recruit and screen potential study subjects according to an IRB approved script that includes the protocol’s inclusion and exclusion criteria

• Schedule study subject visits and perform protocol defined activities completely and accurately

• Maintain adequate and accurate case histories for each subject and record observations in the source document and Case Report Form (CRF) in a timely fashion

• Assign study subject numbers and maintain accurate and complete records of the receipt, administration and return of clinical supplies

• Maintain required documentation in the study regulatory files

• Assist in preparing for any upcoming sponsor or FDA audit as needed

• Attend team meetings and update progress on ongoing clinical trial activities

• Perform any other responsibilities as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Experience in Clinical Research
• GCP certification is preferred
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
