Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care, adhering to nursing standards and fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Oversee LPNs, PCAs, Ortho Techs, and other non-licensed staff
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations of patient conditions
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and achieve patient-centered outcomes
• Ensure safety principles are applied in all aspects of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in unit-based communications such as handoff reports and huddles
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• RN license approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing or eligibility to obtain a multi-state license prior to start
• Open to new graduates; experienced nurses should have at least two years of recent acute care experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification required
• BSN preferred, minimum Associate's degree required
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Experience with admissions, discharges, and patient monitoring
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
