We are currently hiring for QC Inspector Electrical to be responsible for final inspections in electrical and other departments as applicable, on assigned shelters prior to shipment to customers. Also responsible for assuring departments complete rework and issues illustrated on write-ups from inspections.

Essential Duties

• Troubleshoot for present and/or potential problems
• Perform all electrical inspections
• Perform some mechanical inspections
• Assist with all department inspections, as assigned
• Must be familiar with and have the ability to perform all aspects of VFPs electrical duties/tasks
• Work with Engineering and Production to resolve problems
• Interface with customers having issues/concerns
• Create and maintain precise and detailed documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years experience with the NEC (National Electric Code) or equivalent
• Two (2) or more years experience with fire suppression systems and HVAC (heating, ventilations, and air conditioning) or equivalent
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
• Ability to read blueprints
