Duration: Contract (Hybrid)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong technical expertise and a proven track record of working within the Oil & Gas domain (upstream, midstream, and downstream). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of midstream processes and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications to support business and technical needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with project requirements.
• Mentor and guide a small development team (3 4 members), providing technical direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead technical design discussions, make architecture decisions, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while optimizing performance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Work within Agile methodologies, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Python development with strong proficiency in frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Solid understanding of the Oil & Gas domain, particularly midstream processes.
• Experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor small teams.
