Project Manager local to NYC/Norwalk, CT 5-8 years PMO exp. Profile Remote Role Summary: We're looking to add an early-career, motivated and proactive emerging leader, and problem solver to our project management team. You should be 2-5 years out of college, with a demonstrated track record, looking for your next step, added responsibility and exposure in high profile projects. Ideally you can show experience helping drive and deliver success in cross-functional business-related initiatives, preferably involving technology projects and process initiatives. Our PMO supports all enterprise technology functions including Platform and Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, AI&ML, and Enterprise Data and Solutions. Our Technology Project Managers play a crucial role delivering the value of FactSet's technology stack to internal and external clients. Project managers must be technically literate, agile thinking and acting leaders and communicators who can work effectively across levels and organizations. This is a high exposure role, working with FactSet leaders/SME's in engineering, operations, business units as well as third parties. Working with these stakeholders, the project manager acts as the glue to establish effective teaming and lead planning and delivery of business-critical technology projects. Responsibilities: Support/lead cross functional project teams to deliver business critical enterprise technology initiatives. Comprehend and utilize waterfall and agile PM methodologies to manage multiple projects delivering FactSet Technology objectives. Create presentation material and lead stakeholder reviews of assigned efforts to ensure stakeholder input, drive progress, foster teaming, identify and resolve risks. Report to key executive sponsors, stakeholders and team members on project status, progress, and risk including continually managing project expectations. Understand and support building metrics, KPIs and OKRs to measure, monitor, and report progress of projects and strategic initiatives. Identify areas for continual improvement in process and execution. Monitor project resource demand and capacity, highlighting areas of concern. Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain buy-in and deliver to project schedules Create and deliver appropriate update tools and templates for progress reporting. Support Technology division portfolio activities, including project management tool governance, demand management, project management best practices; support operations related projects/initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: 2-5 years experience and responsibility in delivering critical business initiatives and/or technology projects. Self-motivated, highly proactive, problem solver, agile thinker, fast learner. Critical Skills: Strong leadership aptitude, accountable and having ability to set direction in a group, resolve conflict, and make decisions with sometimes limited information available. Fast learner who can see the big picture and read between lines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly effective independent and/or remote worker, delivering assigned efforts seamlessly; capable of managing self and team schedules to effectively own success for assigned efforts with delivery teams that cross time zones. Succeed in an environment that often presents ambiguity, frequent change, and unpredictability Understanding of project methodologies and terminology for agile, waterfall and hybrid. Ability to learn to apply best practices in project management methods, associated tools & techniques in a hybrid (waterfall/agile) program environment. Strong core business skills including prioritizing work and meeting deadlines. Be able to balance multiple projects with varying degrees of workload. Analytical thinker and problem-solver, with strong attention to detail, accuracy and accountability. Exceptional people skills - Ability to build strong relationships and rapport and work with people at all levels to understand and solve problems. Good negotiation sense, with the ability to influence others toward a common goal. Strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn internal tools.
