This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Project Engineer or Project Coordinator looking to build a strong foundation in mechanical construction while contributing to large-scale, impactful projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing mechanical construction projects by supporting scheduling, budgeting, and coordination efforts.
Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
Track project costs, monitor budget performance, and assist with financial reporting.
Coordinate procurement, vendor management, and material tracking to prevent project delays.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
Support project closeout procedures, including documentation and final inspections.
Must-Have Skills:
~1-5 years of experience in project engineering, coordination, or a related construction role.
~ Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes.
~ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
~ Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
~ Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience working on healthcare, mission-critical, or educational projects.
Familiarity with CAD/BIM technology and prefabrication workflows.
