Principal Curriculum Designer – JD, CoCounsel Legal Join Thomson Reuters' ONE PS Training Team as an energetic Principal Curriculum Designer. In this role you will design, develop and deliver training programs that enable customers to maximize the use of CoCounsel Legal and other legal products, driving adoption and transformation. About the role Research, write, and maintain current training and certification content aligned with market practice, customer needs, and business objectives. Synthesize content from colleagues and external experts to support AI‑first mindsets and deep CoCounsel expertise. Stay current on AI, legal practice, and market developments to keep content relevant. Collaborate with Learning Experience Designer, Technical Trainer, Professional Services Consultants, and customers to create training across live workshops, webinars, eLearning, certification exams, toolkits. Build relationships with corporate lawyers, industry groups, and product teams to ensure content reflects current best practices. Maintain deep product expertise in CoCounsel Legal and broader Thomson Reuters legal portfolio. Leverage Thomson Reuters gen‑AI tools to accelerate work, improve deliverables, and iterate quickly. Record time and engagement details to support utilization reporting. Support training operations to upload content into LMS and perform related operational tasks. Work in-office at least three days per week as part of a hybrid schedule. About you Juris Doctorate (JD) with bar admission in at least one U.S. state (preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a general counsel office or handling compliance/transactional matters. Experience with legal technology (e.g., CoCounsel Legal, Westlaw, Practical Law, Legal Tracker, HighQ). Experience utilizing AI tools within legal practice, with a commitment to gain/expertise in CoCounsel Legal. Knowledge of corporate attorneys’ needs and priorities; experience drafting and negotiating agreements and policy materials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience driving business transformation in a corporate legal department or law firm. Ability to work across a matrixed organization to build alignment. Experience leading cross‑functional projects and delivering results on time. Strong collaboration and independent work habits.
