Position Overview:
Inhospital Physicians is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Day Hospitalist to join our team in Alexandria, LA . This position offers a unique opportunity for candidates looking to start or continue their medical career in a supportive environment with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: Full-time day shifts (7a-7p)
  
• Admissions: Manage 24/7 admissions with an average of 24 admits per day
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and APPs to provide high-quality patient care
• Work in a closed ICU with no procedures required
• Maintain accurate and current patient records, develop treatment plans, and communicate effectively with families and specialists

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine (preferred)
• Active, unrestricted medical license (assistance available for J1 visa sponsorship)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
