Physical Education Teacher

About the Role
The Physical Education Instructor will provide engaging and developmentally appropriate physical education classes for students in grades 3–8. Our PE program focuses on movement, teamwork, and sportsmanship; helping students grow physically, socially, and spiritually.

Responsibilities

• Teach structured, age-appropriate physical education lessons for grades 3–8
• Promote physical fitness, cooperation, and good sportsmanship
• Create a safe, organized, and encouraging learning environment
• Manage equipment and maintain gym safety procedures
• Collaborate with school staff and administration
• Support and model the values and mission of St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic School
• Supervise students respectfully and consistently

Schedule

• Part-time position (two days per week, preferably Tuesdays and Fridays)

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or youth setting
• Background or bachelors degree in Physical Education, kinesiology, or a related field 
• Strong classroom/gym management and communication skills
• A teacher who supports Catholic values
• Willingness to complete background checks and Safe Environment training
