Busy pediatric group seeks prompt, reliable, Medical Assistant / Receptionist with excellent customer service skills. Needs to be friendly, flexible, adaptable and dependable. Minimum one year experience in a medical office setting preferred. Computer/EHR knowledge and medical terminology a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office.
• Collection co-pays and payments for services.
• Reaching out to patients to schedule appointments.
• Scanning pertinent patient information into EMR.
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary.
• Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients.
• Respond to emails that arrive using the general office email address.
• 1+ years of experience working in a medical office a plus.
• Friendly and compassionate disposition enjoys working with kids.
• Strong organizational skills, and able to multi-task.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records.
• Coordination of physical forms and school notes.
