The Patient Educator RN - CNA Instructor is responsible for teaching and evaluating students in the Certified Nursing Assistant program through classroom instruction and clinical oversight. This role requires an active RN license and experience caring for elderly or chronically ill patients, with additional certifications preferred. The CNA Program Instructor (RN) is responsible for instruction and evaluation of educational and clinical activities for the Certified Nursing Assistant Education Program. Under direct supervision, provides CNA education services through presentations, class instruction, skill delivery and review, and direct clinical oversight. The CNA Instructor must consistently demonstrate professional performance, and reflect the key moral commitments, ethical principles, values and philosophy of the department as set forward in the mission statement.
