Summary
Chown Hardware is currently looking for a full-time outside sales business development professional for the Seattle/Bellevue territory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, design-minded, and can enhance the Chown mission of offering the highest quality products and service in the luxury decorative plumbing and hardware industry.
Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new sales opportunities and prospects to drive sales through our inside sales team in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms.
· Create and foster long-term relationships with existing clients, including identifying opportunities for growth and interventions for customers with declining sales.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on technical and brand knowledge related to door hardware, plumbing, and lighting industry. Pursue continuing education on trends and innovations.
· Partner with showroom teams to ensure superior customer experience from start to finish.
· Drive sales to exceed sales goals, follow up on new business opportunities, and manage sales pipeline.
· Engage in the local design and build community as a representative of the company, through participation in trade associations and attendance at live and virtual industry events.
· Take accountability and initiative for your individual success within a team environment.
Qualifications
· Self-starter with a strong sales and customer relations background.
· 10+ years direct, outside, or inside sales experience.
· Experience with plumbing and/or door hardware required.
· Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
· Goal oriented, energetic, and a success-driven attitude.
Compensation
$75,000-$80,000/yr + Commission
