MYSO accepts audition submissions for the following sections of the orchestra, including: Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Percussion, and Harp. Upload your audition video to YouTube with an unlisted link and submit it within your audition form OR email it directly to mysoexecutivedirector@gmail.com . Your audition should include: A brief introduction stating your name and age/grade. Two scales of your choice, including the number of octaves, tempo, dynamics, and articulation. A steady tempo on all scales is appreciated. Orchestral excerpts listed on the Audition Music page, in the order listed. ILMEA excerpts or a short prepared solo piece are also acceptable.
