Position Summary
Contour Mortgage seeks a dynamic Loan Officer to drive mortgage origination through pre-established realtor partnerships and strategic lead generation across multiple states. This role focuses on leveraging our expansive network, advanced lead tools, and collaborative marketing strategies to connect borrowers with optimal financing solutions while expanding our presence in diverse real estate markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Realtor Collaboration: Strengthen and manage relationships with real estate agents, brokers, and builders nationwide. Utilize Contour’s existing partnerships to generate high-intent referrals and co-market leads.
• Lead Generation: Deploy targeted strategies, data analytics, and direct mail campaigns, to identify and convert leads. Leverage tools like Total Expert to nurture prospects and prioritize pipeline efficiency.
• Multi-State Market Expertise: Advise clients on region-specific loan programs (FHA, VA, conventional, jumbo, etc.) and market trends. Utilize Contour’s SecureBuy program to enhance offer competitiveness with fully underwritten pre-approvals.
• Compliance & Client Education: Ensure adherence to federal/state regulations (RESPA, TILA) while guiding clients through the mortgage process. Simplify complex financial concepts for first-time buyers and investors alike.
Requirements
• Licensing: Active NMLS license with multi-state eligibility (required).
• Experience: 2+ years in mortgage lending, with proven success in lead generation and realtor collaboration. Experience in multi-state operations preferred.
• Skills:
• Knowledge SEO, content marketing, and social media advertising for lead cultivation.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data and borrower profiles.
Preferred Qualifications
• Existing network of realtor contacts in high-growth markets.
• Knowledge of niche products (renovation loans, multi-family financing).
