Job Title: Lead Digital Analyst (SEO)

Location: San Francisco, CA (4 days in office, M-Th)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead Digital Analyst (SEO) to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have strong SEO expertise in the eCommerce space and experience driving international SEO projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, guiding agencies and vendors, to enhance our digital presence and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO, web technologies, and the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage SEO strategies for an eCommerce business with a global reach.
  • Drive SEO projects from idea conception to implementation, ensuring timely execution and performance optimization.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research , using industry-leading tools like Ahrefs , SEMRush , Screaming Frog , Google Analytics , and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied across websites, landing pages, and content.
  • Analyze performance metrics, provide actionable insights, and adjust strategies based on performance data.
  • Provide SEO expertise and guidance to external agencies and vendors to optimize digital strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with SEO trends and updates, ensuring that the business stays ahead of competitors in search engine rankings.
  • Regularly report on SEO performance to stakeholders, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in troubleshooting SEO issues and work with technical teams to resolve website and performance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in SEO with a focus on eCommerce environments.
  • Proven experience with international web businesses , driving SEO projects from idea to implementation .
  • Deep knowledge of SEO principles and practices, with advanced familiarity with HTML , JavaScript , and other front-end web programming languages.
  • Strong experience with third-party SEO and keyword research tools such as Ahrefs , Screaming Frog , SEMRush , Moz , Majestic , Google Analytics , and others.
  • Advanced user of domain-specific SEO tools and platforms.
  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of the Retail industry and its SEO challenges.
  • Experience guiding agencies and vendors to execute SEO strategies effectively and efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with international SEO strategies and multilingual websites.
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console and other related SEO tools.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO, such as site speed optimization , mobile-first indexing , and structured data .
