Consilio is seeking an Intake Clerk for a top 50 ranked law firm in Houston. This position reports directly to the Controller and works closely with the accounting team to ensure the firm’s matter intake and matter maintenance related processes are handled timely, accurately and in accordance with firm policy and practice. Duties include:
> Conflicts - enter and process conflict checks and distribute conflict reports.
> Opening Matters - open case evaluation matters in the system and assist with documentation review for new matter setup.
> Matter Management Reports - assist in updating status notes on matter management reports.
> Quality Control - accurate processing of conflicts and reporting.
> Correspond with firm personnel as needed and gather and provide support documentation for internal/financial reviews as well as information requested by firm personnel.
Ideal candidates have 2-4 years accounting department experience in a law firm (required). Aderant software preferred. Strong Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge a plus, along with a track record of impeccable accuracy and high attention to detail.
