Landscape Construction Crew Lead:   searching for 1 knowledgeable, motivated, and energetic individual to join our expanding team.

As a landscape construction crew lead, you will report to the owner or his designate, leading a crew of 2-4 landscape construction labourers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise the landscape construction crew, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Experience with interlocking brick pavers, grading, excavating, retaining walls, armour stone knowledge all an asset
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks, including hardscape and softscape installation and horticultural practices.
• Working knowledge of the machinery, utilize hand and power tools for construction and carpentry tasks, ensuring safety and proper handling.
• Train and mentor team members in best practices and techniques related to landscaping and construction.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and possess a valid Class G Licence for operational tasks.

On site:

• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
• Operate skid steer, mini-ex, concrete saw, laser level, plate tamper etc. with ease
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer with ease
• Must have a valid Ontario G class driver’s license with clean record. 3-Year Drivers Record to be provided to be considered for hire.

Minimum 5 years landscape construction experience.

You must have reliable transportation to our yard in Vineland, ON. Steel toe boots required.

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour  Wages to be determined based on experience.
