Job Description

Multiple positions available for paraprofessionals to support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role runs from August 11, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with part-time hours totaling 30 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, which includes a paid 10-minute break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Location: Millbrae, CA Candidates must reside within the San Mateo or San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay and South Bay residents are not eligible).

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of an Associates Degree (AA)
• Valid drivers license with reliable personal transportation to commute to work
• Preferred: At least 2 years of recent experience in a school setting
• Strong skills in data collection related to student progress
• Experience with behavioral support and Safety Care training is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Provide paraprofessional support at a single school site to assist students with diverse needs
• Collect and document student data following guidance from the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education teacher
• Maintain professionalism, calmness, and flexibility in interactions with students, supervisors, and colleagues
• Support school readiness activities, pre-academic learning, and foster positive social interaction during recess and group times
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability
