Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students across all K-12 grade levels in a well-regarded school setting. This role is based in Hopkins, MN, and operates on a contract basis throughout the normal school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional assistance to students individually or in small groups to support academic achievement.
• Help implement lesson plans under the guidance of classroom teachers.
• Assist with classroom management to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education services.
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff.
• Aid in the supervision of students during non-instructional periods such as lunch and recess.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a K-12 educational environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Patience and adaptability to address varied learning styles and behaviors.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Relevant paraprofessional training or certification is advantageous, though not always required.
