Job Description
We are a leading Mechanical & Electrical Contractor looking for a Driver / Yardman.
As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe & timely transportation of all local deliveries and pick-ups. Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. They must have a good driving record and a valid Nevada driver's license. The right candidate must be reliable, organized and proactive. This role is more than just driving — you will play a crucial part in supporting our field technicians and daily operations.
Duties include: Loading and unloading the vehicle, verifying the contents of orders against shipping papers, turning in documentation received from deliveries, reading maps, and/or using GPS. Must be able to lift up to 50-100 lbs. routinely and be able to handle the physical demands of the position. The driver must obey all safety instructions, rules, policies, and procedures. The right candidate has to be organized, energetic, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Maintaining and organizing warehouse shelves, job materials and inventory are also important tasks this position is responsible for.Between pick-ups and deliveries, there will be some routine yard /shop work.
