Job Description
Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for Golf Course Greenskeepers to join our team! The Golf Course Greenskeeper is responsible for performing the daily operations of golf course maintenance - operating various types of equipment, including but not limited to, triplex mowers, large area reel and rotary style mowers, bunker machine, aerifiers, blowers, sprayers, and hand-held tools (string trimmer, stick edger, rakes, shovels), use of chain saws, power pole saw trimmers, and hedge trimmers.
(full-time and part-time positions available) All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures.
Job Duties - Perform all basic operations of golf course maintenance.
- Mow all areas of the golf course.
- Trim, edge and weed as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and policies.
- Operate all golf course maintenance equipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Required: - High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of related experience in golf course maintenance.
Other Minimum Requirements - Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to follow written and oral assignments
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50+ lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must follow all safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
