Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Field Technician II to help support the SACSS program in Chula Vista, California

This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided

Must be a US Citizen

Job Description:

• Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support

• Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment

• Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues

• Performs a variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems

• Prepares and presents a variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager

• Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel

• May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals

• May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)

Qualifications:

• US Citizen

• AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 1+ years of experience

• Shipyard experience

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.50 - $34.50. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
